Market rally: Stocks were strong across the board Tuesday with all 11 market sectors in the green. The S & P 500 was up more than 1%. Election Day voting for president is well underway. Control of Congress is also at stake, with all 435 House seats and a third of the 100-member Senate on the ballot. The market rally may be indicative of investors seeing the light at the end of getting rid of the election overhang.
