Alex Rodriguez Provides Positive Update on Magic Johnson’s NFL Investment Despite Latest Setback

Now the 49-year-old has been successful with his A-Rod Corp and other business opportunities, he sent love back to the Lakers legend. When his mentor’s $6 Billion investment ‘failed’, the Yankees legend was quick to remind him about the accomplishments and potential success in the future.
“Even with our loss yesterday, I’m still so proud of the Commanders and how much we accomplished this season! This is only the beginning. I’m looking forward to how we can continue to build and take the team even further next year! 🥰💛❤️.” Cookie Johnson added a post on Instagram about the Washington Commanders’ loss to the Eagles (55-23) and is upbeat about the future. A-Rod did the same in the comments section, “🔥🔥🔥great year!! Bright future ahead🔥.”
Magic Johnson is part of a group that includes billionaires Mitchell Rales and Josh Harris, who bought the NFL franchise at $6 billion, a record in the NFL. When the news became official, Rodriguez did not doubt that his mentor would turn around the fortunes of the Washington franchise.

When the Yankees superstar was still a young athlete, he sought help from the Lakers legend, which came in the form of a 3-hour dinner. The 3x AL MVP was 20 or 21 years old at the time. However, he did not hesitate to ask the right questions about developing his business. Just like Shaquille O’Neal, even Alex Rodriguez received the business blueprint from Magic Johnson. But it involved the promise of helping the younger generation.
“I think Magic is like our Godfather, right? And he’s a combination of [really wise and] one of the greatest basketball players of all time. He goes after it in business with the same ferocious attitude and energy that he did basketball.
