Vermont has highest median student loan payment, according to WalletHub

Personal finance company WalletHub released its list of states with the highest student loan payments, and Vermont took the top spot.
The list was compiled based on consumer data and the median student loan payment amounts across all states.
WalletHub determined that about 42.3 million Americans collectively owe $1.67 trillion in student loans.
