KAMPALA, March 26 (Reuters) – Uganda’s merchandise export earnings surged 77.6% in January from a year earlier, the finance ministry said in a report, driven by soaring revenues from shipments of gold, coffee and others goods.
Uganda earned $1.5 billion from goods shipped in January, up from $844.6 million in the same month a year earlier.
