Gold Technical Setup Favors Buying Pullbacks Over Shorting

The monthly structure in continues to confirm a strong bullish price momentum environment as the market sustains trade above the VC PMI mean at $4,761. This level defines the equilibrium point, and holding above it signals institutional accumulation and trend continuation. The recent advance into the $4,815–$4,820 range reflects a market transitioning from consolidation into expansion, with volatility beginning to build in favor of higher prices.
From a VC PMI standpoint, the market has respected the Buy 1 level at $4,047, where demand previously entered with high probability (90%) of mean reversion. The inability to revisit that level reinforces strength and confirms that buyers are in control. The next structural targets remain Sell 1 at $5,392 and Sell 2 at $6,106, which represent extreme deviations above the mean. As price approaches these levels, the probability shifts toward profit-taking zones rather than initiation of new longs.
Cycle analysis indicates that we are entering a momentum window into early–mid April, where upside expansion is favored. This aligns with the observed breakout behavior above the mean. The next critical cycle inflection is expected mid-April, where the market will either accelerate toward Sell 1 or pause for consolidation. Into May–June, longer-term cycles continue to support the thesis of higher highs, consistent with a potential move toward the $5,000+ region and beyond.
Square of 9 geometry supports this trajectory, with harmonic resistance building near $4,950–$5,050, followed by a major expansion node near $5,392 (Sell 1). A sustained break above $5,050 would confirm a geometric acceleration phase, opening the path toward the upper band targets. These levels align with the natural vibration points of price and time, reinforcing the probability of continuation.
