Choosing the right business credit card for you
If you’re looking for a way to save money on interest, either as you pay down debt from another credit card or on new purchases, it’s important to look beyond a single feature to make the most of your new credit card in the long term.
In addition to the introductory 0% APR promotion, it’s also important to consider each card’s welcome bonus, rewards rates, redemption options and other card benefits. As a business owner, it’s particularly important to choose a card that aligns with your company’s expense profile and other business needs.
It’s also important to keep in mind that business credit cards typically require a personal credit check when you apply. In most cases, you’ll need good credit or better—generally a FICO credit score of 670 or above—to get approved.
As such, it’s a good idea to check your credit score before applying and address potential issues before submitting your application.
