LONDON, Sept 23 (Reuters) – Britain will ease the routes to bring high-skilled workers into the country, Finance Minister Rachel Reeves said on Tuesday, contrasting the UK as a place open for business with U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to hike fees for visas.
Trump on Friday announced a steep hike in the cost of the H1-B visa programme for skilled workers, long a recruitment pathway for tech firms.
