The world’s largest producer of uncrewed mine-clearing vehicles, Dok-Ing d.o.o., is in talks with Rheinmetall AG over expanding its technology and secure investment from the German defense giant.
The discussions focus on Croatia company’s latest product, a modular multi-purpose uncrewed ground vehicle called Komodo, currently in final testing, according to Vjekoslav Majetic, Dok-Ing’s owner. Built to resist extreme conditions, the tracked vehicle can be equipped with counter-drone systems, direct-fire weapons, can deploy bridges, and transport equipment, ammunition, and casualties, among other uses.
