Ocean State Job Lot, which opened its 11th New Jersey location in November, has relaunched its Crazy for Coins promotion.
The program allows customers to exchange rolled coins for gift cards while receiving a 40% bonus in additional store credit.
Ocean State Job Lot opened its newest location in Hamilton Commons in Mays Landing. It’s also the company’s second store in Atlantic County.
The Rhode Island-based retailer announced the coin program’s return in a statement last month.
Job Lot Insiders who bring in at least $10 in rolled coins to purchase a gift card receive a Crazy Deal Gift Card worth 40% of their coin exchange amount, according to the statement.
A customer exchanging $10 in rolled coins receives a $10 gift card plus a $4 bonus card.
Those exchanging $100 in rolled coins get a $40 bonus card.
The promotion is exclusive to members of the Job Lot Insider Club, which customers can join free online or at any store location.
Membership includes access to exclusive coupons and offers, insider-only deals and the ability to make returns without receipts.
The retailer specializes in closeout merchandise, offering brand-name household goods, apparel, pet supplies, seasonal products and kitchen staples at discounted prices.
