Police asking the public for help after attempted early morning ATM robbery

Police in Glastonbury are investing after an early morning attempted ATM robbery, officials said.
Early Saturday morning around 4:20 a.m., Glastonbury police responded to Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union at 81 House St., for an alarm activation.
Upon arrival, officers said they discovered an ATM was damaged and appeared as though someone attempted to remove it.
The Glastonbury Police Department is requesting assistance obtaining any video footage that may aid the ongoing investigation. Investigators are seeking surveillance or personal video recordings that may have captured the suspects or related activity at the intersection of Salmon Brook Drive and House Street between 3:50 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Footage from residents, motorists, or businesses that may show individuals, vehicles, or other suspicious activity, particularly pickup trucks in the credit union parking lot, is of interest to investigators, police said.
Anyone with relevant video or information is asked to contact Sergeant. Brandon Ritchie of the Glastonbury Police Department Investigations Division at 860-652-4263.
